The Beatles made their debut on the "Ed Sullivan Show" on Febuary 9th, 1964, The particular episode of the show, drew in over 7.3 million viewers. From the time they arrived in the united states in 1964 to the time when the "Fab Four" spilt in 1969, Together, the group pioneered not only musical advances but granted it a life of it's own. early shows to go see the group, were fairly cheap until the Bestles had made it big in the Music industry. The time of Elvis Presley & "skiffle, was no more and the decade of the 60s was now known as the decade of "Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll". This was also a time of advances in the media. The Beatles were the first music group to star in a Hollywood produced movie, and they were also the very first to make music videos. The "Seargent Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band" was the beatles biggest masterpiece ever produced while the group was still together. it captured a moment in musical history that shall never be repeated.
